FAQs
-
The easiest way to start the process is to DM me on Instagram or fill out my contact form above!
This way we can hash out any details including design, size, placement, which will all help me determine how much time we need to schedule for your appointment.

Hydrate and avoid getting a sunburn, spray tan, and alcohol before your appointment. I also do not allow numbing cream to be used, as it can affect the tattooing and healing process.
If you’re sick or under the weather, PLEASE reschedule! I have a small child at home and would rather be flexible with you and keep everyone safe.
You must be 18+ and not currently under the influence of drugs, alcohol, pregnant, or breastfeeding to receive a tattoo.
On the day of your appointment you MUST bring a photo ID with you.
Consent forms must be completed before starting the appointment.
Cash for tips are okay and appreciated. 🤎

It’s “Rachel”, not “Ra-shell”. But I won’t be mad if you get it wrong. :)

After your appointment, you may have a clear bandage like Saniderm or second skin applied to protect your tattoo.
Keep it on for 3-5 days, unless you notice any allergic reactions to the adhesive.
When it's time to remove the bandage, do so gently in a warm shower with clean hands—never peel it off dry.
During this time, avoid excessive sweating and strenuous activity.
After the first 3-5 days of either the adhesive layer or dry healing, start moisturizing your tattoo a few times a day using an unscented healing ointment or lotion – I recommend Lubriderm. Always make sure your tattoo is completely dry before applying moisturizer, and make sure you rub it in completely. You want it to stay hydrated but you don’t want to drown it.
-
For the first two weeks, wash your tattoo 2-3 times daily with antibacterial soap, using only clean hands (avoid washcloths or loofahs).
After washing, pat your tattoo dry with a clean paper towel and apply a thin layer of unscented healing ointment or moisturizer – I recommend Lubriderm. Be sure to rub the moisturizer in fully, so no shiny layer remains. You want to keep it hydrated, but not drown it!
Don’t use any medicated, fragranced, or exfoliating products on your tattoo.
Remember: no picking at scabs—let them fall off naturally to avoid damaging your design.
-
Avoid soaking your tattoo in water (including swimming, baths, or hot tubs) for at least two weeks. Keep it out of direct sunlight, and avoid any clothing that causes friction on the tattoo.
Make sure you protect your tattoo in environments where bacteria or germs are more prevalent, as it's still an open wound.
Lastly, don't engage in activities that could cause excessive sweating while your tattoo is healing.
Rachelle was phenomenal! Upon arrival, she was very welcoming and made the start of the experience great! She provided size variations and expressed if I was not content with location, we could move things around until i was satisfied.
Rachelle held great conversation and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I can't take my eyes off the work she did! It was a great experience overall! I will definitely be back and look forward to getting more work done!
